Like
many other aspects of fitness, flexibility can be misunderstood
and pursued improperly.
Although
people know that they should stretch and do so with the
best intentions, they sometimes stretch incorrectly and
injure themselves.
Over
stretching of muscles and ligaments around the joint can
result in the formation of scar tissue, and result in
a loss of elasticity.
To
prevent this, we will develop a dynamic range of motion
and your ability to actively control the joints through
regular relaxed stretching, as well as strengthening of
the muscles.
